OAuth credentials are stored in Pivot’s protected local credential store. Apps use the account you assign. If an operation needs additional access, Pivot asks you to authorize it.
Automatic email summaries process newly arriving messages after a connection baseline is established. They do not backfill your old mailbox or use previous chat history.
How Pivot handles your data →Where does AI processing happen?
AI requests go to the model service configured in your Pivot installation. Continuous new-mail summaries require your consent to the specific provider, model and service host. The approved destination is checked before processing.
Can I disconnect my account?
Yes. Disable or remove the connection in Pivot, and revoke its access in your Google Account’s third-party connections settings. Already saved messages or summaries may remain locally until you delete them.
Do I need to create a Google developer project?
End users should only sign in and grant access. Google OAuth registration and production verification are the responsibility of the Pivot developer. Public production verification has not yet been completed.
